ACADEMIC SUPPORT
TUTORING: Tutors are on campus M-F from 3:00pm – 6:00pm in B-7. Students can drop-in anytime! Step-Up collaborates with
Westmont College M, T, TH (3:00-5:30). There is also a Math Teacher in the library from 3:05-4:05 on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
CREDIT RECOVERY: Students can make up class credits during Step UP. Students should speak to their counselor to get referred.
FAMILY LITERACY NIGHTS: Classes will be offered this spring. Details to come!
ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES
We offer a variety of different workshops throughout the week that give our students the opportunity to learn new skills, engage in
healthy behavior, and to prepare them for life outside of Carpinteria High School. Activities that are currently being offered are:
CrossFit, Yoga, MESA (Mathematics, Engineering, and Science Achievement), American Sign Language, Running Club, AHA!, and
outside games on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. All workshops are drop-in and are open to all Carpinteria High School Students.
Student's can come and go as they see fit!
